2016 Global Citizen Festival to End Extreme Poverty By 2030. The event was held today in Central Park, and had appearances by several celebrities and musicians. If you haven’t heard of Global Citizen, it’s an organization with the mission to encourage people to take action on issues such as world hunger. Danai spoke on stage but before the show she spoke with an interviewer on the red carpet and gave some really powerful words about taking action.
